Four people held

SUKKUR, Dec 26: The Kashmor police confiscated a truck (FDG- 7932) loaded with scrap near Mazari Goth, on Sindh and Balochistan border, and arrested four persons on Wednesday.

The police on a tip-off that stolen scrap was being transported from Balochistan, intercepted a truck loaded with the scrap, impounded it and arrested four persons, Ghulam Abbas, Ghulam Murtaza, Manzoor Ahmed Rajput and Latif Rajput.

Police started further investigation.

EDO SUSPENDED: The Zila Nazim, Naushero Feroze, Masroor Jatoi, has suspended EDO (education), Muhammad Sharif Khoso, on the charge of corruption.

The EDO had made unnecessary deductions from the salaries of the teachers, besides being involved in huge embezzlement of the government money.

THREE INJURED: Moula Dad Panhyar, father of Shahjahan, chairman Jagarta Forum, Ghotki, and his two sons were injured when their rivals opened fire on them on Wednesday.
