QUETTA, Oct 14: The leaders of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal and Pakistan Muslim League (Q) have started contacting other parties and independent MPA’s in an effort to form a coalition government in Balochistan.

The JUI general secretary, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, and provincial president PML(Q), Jam Mir Mohammad Yousaf, arrived in Quetta the other day for negotiations.

Sources said that the MMA has established contacts with the JWP chief, Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, and leaders of BNM and BNP-Mengal.

According to general secretary JWP, Khuda-i-Noor, the central committee of the party will meet in Dera Bugti in a few days.

Sources said that the general secretary of Pakistan Muslim League (Q), Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, also talked to Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti by telephone on Sunday.

The JUI general secretary, Maulana Ghafoor Haideri, told reporters late on Sunday night that the central committee of JUI and MMA would meet in Lahore and Islamabad.

In the meanwhile, the provincial president of PML(Q) Balochistan, Jam Mir Mohammad Yousaf, told newsmen that PML(Q) would form government in Balochistan with the help of National Alliance and independent MPAs.
