KARACHI, Aug 9: A young man was shot dead in Lyari early on Tuesday morning. Police said that Jabbar Aslam was asleep when some armed men barged into his house, located in Kalakot police jurisdiction. They shot at him and fled. Later, He was rushed to the Civil Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police said that Jabbar had married Uzma about a month back. His brother-in-laws, Shakil and Jameel, were nominated in the FIR.

BODY FOUND: The body of an unknown man stuffed in a gunny bag was recovered from North Karachi on Tuesday.

Police said that the body was recovered from bushes in the limits of Khawaja Ajmair Nagri police station. Police shifted the body to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Hospital sources said that victim had suffered a head injury inflicted by a blunt weapon. Following the legal formalities, the body was sent to Edhi morgue for identification.
