Death of Rabbani’s mother condoled

ISLAMABAD, Jan 18: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Tuesday telephoned Leader of the Opposition in Senate Mian Raza Rabbani to offer condolences over the death of his mother.

Expressing grief, the prime minister told Mr Rabbani that it was a great personal loss for him.

He prayed to Allah Almighty for the eternal peace of the departed soul and grant of courage to the members of the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude.

Meanwhile, Senate Chairman Mohammedmian Soomro and Leader of the House in Senate Wasim Sajjad have also expressed grief over the death of Mr Rabbani’s mother.

They in their separate condolence messages prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace and grant solace to the members of bereaved family.

PML-N Leaders: The exiled prime minister and chief of his own faction of Pakistan Muslim League, Nawaz Sharif and former Punjab chief Minister chief Shahbaz Sharif have condoled the death of mother of Opposition Leader in the Senate, Mian Raza Rabbani.

In their condolence message from Jeddah, PML-N leaders expressed their deep sense of shock and grief over the sad demise of the Senator Rabbani’s mother and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant solace to the members of bereaved family to bear the great loss with fortitude.

PML-N chairman Raja Zafarul Haq, acting president Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, acting parliamentary leader, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, secretary-general Zafar Iqbal Jhaghra and information secretary Siddiqul Farooq, in their joint condolence message, have condoled with Mr Rabbani over the passing of his mother.
