Two brothers shot dead

OKARA, Jan 18: Two young brothers were shot dead by armed men on Tuesday night in Mandi Ahmedabad village. Reports said that Ali Ahmad and Imdad Ali were asleep in their house when accused Arshad and Ijaz of Lomri village knocked at their door. The accused asked the brothers to accompany them for some urgent work. As they reached near the farmhouse of Gohrab, their accomplices — Aslam, Khadim, Khalid, Riaz, Mumtaz, Sajid Ali, Atif, Hashim, Riasat, Mushtaq, Ishaq, Ashraf, Mazhar, Abbas and three others opened fire on the two brothers. They died on the spot.

Mandi Ahmadabad police have registered a case against the accused on the report of deceased’s sister Nasran Bibi.
