KARACHI: Altaf greets Ibad, Arbab

KARACHI, Feb 16: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief, Altaf Hussain, has greeted all political and religious parties, Haq Parasts and Sindh administration for observing a peaceful protest demonstration against blasphemy.

Mr Hussain, in a statement, said that people of Sindh by lodging protest in a peaceful and civilized manner had proved that people of Sindh believe in moderation rather than religious extremism and practiced the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) even in sensitive matters.

The MQM chief also felicitated the Sindh administration, police and rangers personnel, particularly Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad, Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim and home minister Rauf Siddiqui for taking effective measures to maintain law and order during staging of peaceful protest demonstration.
