KARACHI: Two shot dead in various incidents

KARACHI, Feb 16: Two persons were shot dead in different incidents in the city on Thursday. Police said Zameer Gul was gunned down by unknown persons in Mehran Town in the Korangi Industrial Area.

Police said the victim was reportedly heading home when unknown persons shot him dead. The suspects, who were on motorcycle, sped away from the spot following the incident. Police shifted the body to the JPMC for post-mortem examination.

In another incident, the brother of a Haqiqi activist was shot dead by unknown persons in Saudabad late Wednesday night.

Police said Anwar Khan alias Babu was gunned down by unknown persons in the K Area of Saudabad. The victim was sitting close to his house in K Area.

His body was sent to the JPMC for legal formalities.
