Revenue officials booked

MIRPURKHAS, Feb 16: Police on Thursday registered an FIR against a former Mukhtiarkar of the Kot Ghulam Mohammad taluka, two Tapedars and three others for allegedly selling agricultural lands of Jamal Nasir by exercising the powers of attorney.

Mr Nasir lodged the case under sections 218, 420, 473, 474 and 468, PPC, accusing Moinuddin, in connivance with former Mukhtiarkar Aleem Notiar, Tapedars Ranomal and Kirshan Lal, Talib Behram and Jewan Behram, of selling his 47 acres of land in Deh-351, Kot Ghulam Mohammad taluka.

LOOTED: Five armed people barged into the house of sub-inspector Amin Mari in Jauher Colony on Wednesday night and looted Rs4,000, one pistol and a cell phone after holding inmates hostage at gunpoint.

The Town police registered a case on a complaint of Dhani Bux.
