Mehran, Qamar in semifinals
HYDERABAD, Feb 20: Mehran Hockey Club and Qamar Hockey Eleven qualified for the semifinals of the Hyderabad district Inter-club hockey championship at Board Stadium, Latifabad on Monday.
Mehran Hockey Club outclassed Qamar Sports Hockey Club 6-0. Adnan Hamid netted twice while Ahsan, Qamar, Amir and Naeem scored one goal each. Qamar Hockey Eleven beat Rajput Hockey Club 3-0. Rizwan Mughal score two goals while Kashif Ali struck one. Azad Hockey Club and Qamar Sports were given walkover against their rivals.
