KARACHI: Five killed in accident

KARACHI, March 2: Five persons died in a road accident at Sohrab Goth on Thursday morning. Police said a speeding minibus of route W-19 fell into a large roadside depression on Superhighway, killing five passengers and wounding 10 others. The accident occurred near a petrol station.

Police said the accident occurred apparently due to over-speeding. The injured were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment. The dead were also sent to the hospital for legal formalities.

Edhi sources said one of the victim had been identified as Bahram while four others could not be identified. Some of the injured were identified as Shah Bahram, Akbar, Rehmat Wali, Liaquat Ali, Riaz Ahmed, Aziz and others.
