Inter-club hockey
LAHORE, March 4: The match-winner by Aaqib Butt in the second half helped M.A.O College win the Punjab Inter-club hockey championship beating Mitchell Club, Okara, 2-1 in the final at the National Hockey Stadium on Saturday.
Yasir Khurshid put M.A.O College 1-0 ahead by scoring a field goal in the 22nd minute. But former Olympian Mohammad Sarwar equalised in the 29th minute as two teams were 1-1 at half time. In the second half, Aaqib struck the winner through a field attempt in the 60th minute.
