HYDERABAD, March 11: District Naib Nazim Zaffar Rajput has said the district government was making sincere efforts to help create jobs in the private sector. He was talking to a delegation of All Hyderabad Bangles and Welding Contractor Workers Union which called on him on Thursday.

Mr Rajput asked the delegation to submit their suggestions to the district government for bringing improvement in the lives of workers.

He said he had already assured the workers of providing them legal protection within the framework of district council and advised them to arrange a consultative workshop or seminar to prepare a strategy for the workers’ protection. The meeting later decided that a seminar would be organized on March 17 at Hyderabad Press Club.

CONFEDERATION DAY: The Sindh National Front has said that the party will observe confederation day on March 23, to highlight and project the true spirit of the 1940 resolution which is inscribed on Minar-i-Pakistan.

Speaking at a news conference at the press club here on Thursday, the deputy general secretary of the SNF, Ayoub Shar said that the programme given by the SNF chief about provincial autonomy has now become the programme of all political parties of the country, including the People’s Party Parliamentarians.
