GUJRANWALA, March 18: A schoolteacher was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Wazirabad on Saturday. Reports said the teacher, Haroon Mahdi, was sitting inside a shop when the killers opened fire on him and escaped. He died on the spot. Police have registered the case.
ADJOURNED: The anti-terrorism court No 1 adjourned the Sialkot jail riot case till March 25 following the primary hearing here on Saturday.
The court summoned Addiala Jail Superintendent Malik Shaukat Feroze Awan and his deputy for recording their statements on the next hearing. All the accused in the case were present in the court.
