ISLAMABAD, March 31: An Indian military head constable and six Central Reserve Police personnel, including an assistant commandant, were killed in a powerful explosion in Srinagar on Friday.

The explosion occurred on Ali Jan Road. A vehicle belonging to the paramilitary force was damaged, PTV World reported.

Four people were critically injured in another blast in Koldara area of Srinagar.

Meanwhile, Indian troops killed two Kashmiri youths in Shupaian and one each in Pulwama and Poonch.

APHC leaders Maulana Abbas Ansari, Agha Syed Hassan Al Moosvi and Naeem Ahmed Khan, while addressing public gatherings during a mass-contact campaign, emphasized that repression would not deter Kashmiris from continuing their liberation movement.—APP
