KARACHI, April 5: Three ships carrying containers and to load molasses are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was fairly brisk where nine ships were berthed to unload and load containers and general cargo. They are: Kota Wajar, Corin Thaikos, Jade Trader, Iran Baabaei, Y.M.Moon, APL Dalian, Hyundai Stride to unload and load containers, Atlantic Express and Full City to offload and load general cargo.

Sailing on the other hand was modest as only three vessels, Pu He, Hanjing Busan and Spring Trader departed, while Jade Trader, APL Dalian, Iran Baabaei, Kota Wajar, Full City, Atlantic Express, Hyun Kweang, Ju Fu Men and Hyundai Stride are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was light as the total tonnage handled amounted 51,602 tons comprising 10,081 tons of export cargo and 41,521 tons of import tonnage including 5,746 tons of raw sugar.
