SAHIWAL, April 5: A youth was killed and his two cousins injured by their 12 rivals over a property dispute here on Wednesday at Chak 97/12-L. Reports said Muhammad Saleem, Tariq, Ismail, Mustafa, Khadim Khan, Muhammad Yaseen, Liaquat Ali, Maqsood, Farzand, Bhutto, Ashraf Khalid and Afzal entered the house of Haji Ahmed Khan to take the possession of a disputed residential plot.

They opened fire as a result of which Ghulam Mustafa was killed on the spot while his cousins Khadim Husain and Mazhar Husain suffered injuries.

Shahkot police have registered a case under Sections 302, 452, 324, 148 and 149 of the PPC with no arrest.

ATTACHMENT: Additional District and Sessions Judge Syed Hamid Husain Shah on Wednesday ordered attachment of salaries of two SHOs and asked the district accounts officer for compliance and report to the court on 10th.
