MIRPURKHAS: Arrangements for Eid Miladun Nabi


MIRPURKHAS, April 9: District Nazim Sughra Junejo held a meeting on Saturday with religious scholars, DCO, officers of health and other departments to finalise arrangements for Jashn-i-Eid Miladun Nabi. Dr Sughra advised religious scholars to to promote the spirit of brotherhood among Muslims, and directed district officers to ensure security on the route of processions to be taken out on the 12th Rabiul Awal.

Mufti Sharif Saeedi, Hafiz Akbar Rashid, Maulana Syed Asad Naqvi, Shahid Mughal, Iltimas Sabir, Yousuf Attari, Allah Dino Shah, Tasawwur Hussain Kazmi and others assured the meeting of their cooperation in maintaining peace on the special day.

WARNING: The Mirpurkhas Special Sports and Welfare Association warned on Sunday to launch a protest campaign if the government failed to implement two per cent employment quota for special persons.

Association’s president Mohammed Javed Malik and secretary Lal Mohammed Baloch said in a statement that the Sindh government was not implementing the quota despite making many pledges.

Injured: Three persons received serious injuries on Sunday when their motorcycle hit a truck parked on the Hyderabad Road near Khowaja Goth. The injured were taken to Civil Hospital.
