Reconstruction in Chakothi
ISLAMABAD, April 13: The reconstruction phase in the areas devastated by the Oct 8 earthquake started on Thursday in Chakothi with the construction of a girls’ primary school.
Foundation stone for Government Girls Primary School under the sponsorship programme of the Earthquake Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Authority was laid by Cherie Blair, wife of the British prime minister.
The project was sponsored by an Islamabad-based NGO.—APP
