Murder case against five registered

DADU, April 13: Two people were killed near the Masood Jalbani village in Mehar taluka on Wednesday night. Afzal Sahir, 40, constable deputed at the Nooriabad police station, and Nabi Bux alias Naban Sahir, 50, were shot dead by five armed men when they were returning from the Mazar of Shah Panjo.

A relative of the deceased, Abdul Razzaq, registered an FIR against five accused at the Radhan police station.

Abdul Latif, Nisar, Ghulam Shabbir, Gulab and Bhalle Dino Sahir were nominated in the FIR.

Relatives of the deceased placed bodies at the front gate of the hospital and staged a demonstration.

They demanded that the accused named in the FIR be arrested.

KILLED: A man was shot dead by two armed men on Sim Shakh road near Mehar on Thursday.

The armed men looted motorcycle, cash and gold ornaments from the man and wife of the deceased when they were coming to Mehar from his Ghari village.

The armed men escaped with the loot after killing Paryal Kalhoro.
