Tajikistan face Sri Lanka in final

DHAKA, April 13: Tajikistan beat Kyrgyzstan 2-0 in the second semifinal on Thursday and will face Sri Lanka in the final of the inaugural AFC Challenge Cup on Sunday.

Tajikistan striker Yusuf Rabiev scored both goals, in the 51st minute and in injury time.

Sri Lanka beat Nepal in a penalty shoot-out in Chittagong on Wednesday. The 16-nation competition began on April 1 and is contested by emerging Asian teams at the lower end of the FIFA world rankings.—Reuters
