Mehfooz XI faces MM in opener
KARACHI, April 14: Hosts Mehfooz XI will take on Mehmoodabad Mohammadan (MM) in the opener of All Sindh Akhter Abbas football tournament which kicks off on Sunday at Mehfooz Stadium, Malir.
Twenty-four teams, including eight departments, will be seen in action in the knockout event. Final will be played on May 7.
The other match of the inaugural day will be played between Lyari Brothers and Sajidi Mohammadan.
Departmental teams taking part are Karachi Port Trust, National Bank of Pakistan, Habib Bank Limited, Karachi Electric Supply Corporation, Pakistan Works Department, Sui Southern Gas Company, Karachi Water Board and Sindh Government Press.—PPI
