Hawks and Falcons in final

KARACHI, April 15: Karachi Hawks and Karachi Falcons fought their way into the final of Karachi Polo Club (KPC) Beach Polo tournament by registering wins over their opponent’s in the pre-finals on Saturday.

Kashif Jamal slammed three goals as Hawks got the better of Knights by 5-3. Shahzad Azeem and Shahid Hayat scored one goal apiece for winners.

Haseeb Mehta (2) and Amir Cheema (1) earned the scoring honours for the losers.

Falcons chalked up a nail-biting 3-2 win over Mustangs. Irfan Shaikh was the pick for the winning team scoring all three goals. He opened the account in the first Chukkar and went on to add two more in the third.

Waqas Mannoo and Kashif Nisar banged home one goal each for the losers.

The final between Hawks and Falcons will be played Sunday.
