Lahore, April 15: The Lahore Race Club (LRC) stewards have allowed Pakistani horses to take part in the Royal Ascot Cup alongwith the imported horses to be held on April 23.
The event was exclusively meant for imported animals but now open to Pakistan bred horses to contest in it. The cup is to be gone over 1600m, it was officially announced.
The cup is named after England's Royal Ascot Racecourse founded by Queen Anne in 1711.—A.G.
