3 varsities raise fees

ISLAMABAD, April 16: The ministry of education has increased admission and tuition fee of three universities. According to the ministry sources, the admission and tuition fees of the Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) has been raised by 10 per cent, while tuition fee of the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Sciences and Technology, Karachi, and the International Islamic University Islamabad has been raised by 10 per cent and 12.5 per cent respectively.

The new fees would be applicable on the students seeking admission in 2006.—Online
