Yasir, Shams shine

ISLAMABAD, April 20: Mohammad Yasir and Shamsuddin stroked half centuries for Model Town Gymkhana in a 51-run victory over CRA as the ICA Margalla Festival Cricket Championship gained momentum on Thursday.

Yasir scored 66 and Shamsuddin cracked 60, the two helping their side to 246 in 49.2 overs at the CRA Ground.

After putting on a healthy score, Model Town Gymkhana bowlers spearheaded by Mohsin who took three for 34, bowled out CRA for 195 in 45.4 overs.

Only Kashif Majeed (42) and Bilal Ahmed (36) got some runs while others around them faltered.
