LAHORE, April 20: Pakistan will clash with Olympic champions Australia in the first match of the Champions Trophy hockey tournament to be held at Terrassa, Spain, from July 22.

In other matches on the first day, Spain will play Germany while Netherlands play against Argentina.

Pakistan face Germany in the second match on July 23 and Netherlands on July 25, followed by a match against Spain on July 27 after a day’s rest on July 26 and Argentina in the last match on July 29.

The winners of three editions of the Champions Trophy, Pakistan had never won after last time winning in 1994.

July 22: Australia vs Pakistan; Spain vs Germany; Netherlands vs Argentina.

July 23: Pakistan vs Germany; Argentina vs Spain; Australia vs Netherlands.

July 24: Rest day.

July 25: Netherlands vs Pakistan; Spain vs Australia; Germany vs Argentina.

July 26: Rest day.

July 27: Germany vs Netherlands; Pakistan vs Spain; Argentina vs Australia.

July 28: Rest day.

July 29: Pakistan vs Argentina; Spain vs Netherlands; Australia vs Germany.

July 30: positional matches.
