Series levelled

LAHORE, April 20: Pakistan Punjab beat its Indian counterpart 43-36 to level the five-match kabaddi series 1-1 at the Atiq Stadium on Wednesday.

The two teams were locked 20-20 at the breather.

From the home side Shaukat Ali, Imtiaz and Tariq Waheed played well and notched up points at crucial stages.

For the visitors, Bilvender Singh, Gurmal Singh, Surender Singh and Parvin Kumar caught the eyes.

The third match will be played at Chichawatni on Friday.
