KARACHI: HSC suppl results

KARACHI, April 24: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) on Monday announced the results of HSC-II (humanities) private group’s supplementary exams 2005.

According to statistics, a total of 3,423 candidates registered themselves with the BIE, of which 3,225 candidates appeared in the exams. Only 1,489 candidates passed the exams. The pass percentage remained at 46.17.

None of the candidates secured A-1 or A grades, only 14 candidates passed the exams with B grades, 136 got C grades, 951 got D grades and 378 passed with E grades.Another 10 candidates were also declared passed without any grade. Results of some 7 candidates were withheld for use of unfair means.—PPI
