Shoaib Malik for S. Africa

LAHORE, April 24: Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik will now leave for South Africa on Tuesday instead of Monday to undergo elbow surgery.

Shoaib was advised by the PCB medical commission to have the operation done in Pakistan as it was of minor nature.

But the PCB hierarchy decided to send Shoaib to South Africa.

Darryn Lifson, the team physiotherapist, has made arrangements for the surgery in South Africa.

Shoaib was injured five years ago during a fielding collision with Shahid Afridi in a triangular series match against England at Lord's.
