Asia Cup resumes today

ISLAMABAD, April 24: The Asia Cup Baseball Championship resumes on Tuesday after Monday's rest day with two matches to be contested at the Rawalpindi Stadium.

In the first match, Thailand will play Iran while Hong Kong take on Sri Lanka. Hosts Pakistan face off Thailand on Wednesday in the last game of the championship.

Pakistan by virtue of having won all three of their matches are assured of the title even if they lose to Thailand.

Officials said that winning the title means qualification for the Asian Seniors Championship.
