KARACHI: CT scan at ZU hospital

KARACHI, April 27: The chairman of the Karachi Port Trust (KPT), Vice-Admiral Ahmed Hayat inaugurated CT scan facility at the Dr Ziauddin Hospital, Keamari Campus of the Ziauddin University here on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that correct diagnosis was half the treatment, as correctness and timeliness were the two pivots of good diagnosis.

Earlier, the chancellor of the Ziauddin University, Dr Asim Hussain in his speech said that this ceremony owed substantially to the philanthropic dedication of the House of Rangoonwala. M/s Zuleikhabai V.M. Gany Rangoonwala Trust has donated Rs4 million of the total cost of Rs8 million of the projects and the rest of the amount has been raised from the varsity's own resources, he informed.—PPI
