PESHAWAR, April 27: The Campus police used batons and teargas on Thursday to disperse students of the Khyber Medical College (KMC) protesting against a new examination system, according to students.
Police detained 15 students but later released them, said a student leader, Samiullah.
A Campus police official said that a few sutdents had been detained for a short while and no case had been registered against them. He denied using batons or teargas against the students.
Mr Samiullah said that the KMC students had boycotted classes in protest against the new examination system.—Correspondent
