KARACHI, April 28: Two ships carrying containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships were berthed to load cement and offload containers and general cargo. They are: Dong Hua Men, Bao Fu Man to unload and load general cargo, Angeliki-D, to load cement, Swat and Adhidaya, to offload crude oil, Calvin P Titus, E.O.I.-1 to unload and load containers.

Sailing was fairly active as 10 vessels, Orient Independence, Hyundai Advance, Y M Energy, Marcalabria, Kota Waruna, Andino Park, Eleana, Mirna, Dong He Men, and Parsian departed on Friday, while Bao Fu, Swat, MOL Silver Fern, E.O.I, and Dina Queen are due to sail out on Saturday.

A total tonnage of 0.104m tons comprising 19,381 tons of export cargo including 3,587 tons of rice and 84,251 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Iran Baabaei and Ever Guide, with containers.
