Imran slams hat trick

KARACHI, May 24: Imran Hussain scored a hat trick as Sui Southern Gas (SSGC) overwhelmed Hazara Green 6-1 to earn full points in All Pakistan Shaheed Anwer Bhai football league stage on Wednesday at Peoples Stadium.

The teams were locked 1-1 at half-way stage.

Imran struck with clinical efficiency in the 43rd minute followed by his double strike in 59th and 65th minute to put his team on road to victory. Earlier Sajid Ali had surprisingly given the losers the lead.

Aftab Ahmed made the scoreline 5-1 with strikes in 71st and 76th while Muhammad Zahid completed the rout of Hazara Green in the dying moments to seal victory for SSGC.
