SUKKUR, May 28: Two women were put to death over a property dispute in Pir Bux Shar village near Daharki on Saturday. Accused Mumtaz, alias Dadu Shar, shot dead his wife Azmat, sister Sharifan and ran away from the village.

Allah Dino Shar, father of Azmat, registered an FIR against his son-in-law.

The third woman was also shot dead over what police said a property row in Fakir Jo Goth of Shikarpur district on Saturday.

Reports said Hidayat, wife of Ghulam Rasool Khuharo, was doing domestic work when some armed persons barged into the house, shot her dead and fled.

Mr Riaz, brother of the woman, registered a case against five persons, including, Mano, Mohammad Yousuf, Ghulam Hussain.

ROBBERY: Unknown armed robbers looted a grain merchant and his family in Hindu Muhalla in Thull. The affected trader was identified as Mol Chand.
