SUKKUR, May 28: The Sindh Employees Alliance (SEA) and Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association (SPLA) have ended their boycott of examination duty.

Leaders of the two organisations said professors, lecturers and other staff would resume their duties for the annual examinations of HSC-I and II from May 30, the new date announced by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sukkur.

Syed Subhan Shah of the Sindh Employees Alliance and leader of the SPLA, Sukkur region, Professor Ibrahim Channa told newsmen about their decision, at the residence of the Sukkur district nazim on Sunday.

The DCO and other officials were present on the occasion.

However, the two leaders said, their protest against the chairman education board would continue.

They said the SEA and SPLA had ended the boycott in the larger interest of students, and added that regarding the removal of chairman board, a meeting of SEA would be held in Hyderabad on May 30, to devise strategy.

Speaking on the occasion, District Nazim Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that with his intervention, the SEA and SPLA had ended the boycott while differences sparked between the SPLA and chairman board would be investigated and recommendations would be sent to the Sindh government for taking action against the responsible.
