Increase in gas prices slammed


ISLAMABAD, June 2: While the government was claiming that the next budget would bring relief to common people, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has already increased gas rates to be effective from July 1.

“Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has frequently asserted that budget will bring relief for common man but OGRA has again allowed for increase in gas prices, which should further over burden the poor masses,” said ICCI President Abdul Rauf in a statement issued here on Friday.—Our Reporter
