KARACHI: Paper-less office system


KARACHI, June 8: File-tracking system, aimed at materializing dream of paperless office, would be uploaded within 15 to 20 days on Internet and installed first at the office of Sindh Chief Secretary, said Advisor to Chief Minister for Environment, Alternative Energy and Information Technology (IT) Noman Saigal while speaking at a press conference here on Thursday.

He said the project of provincial database system to frame policies of the Sindh government is also in the pipeline.

He said 23 new highly educated and trained EDOs (IT) would replace untrained EDOs soon and applications had been invited from IT experts and students.

Forty IT awareness centres will be made functional within next 15 days.—PPI
