RAWALPINDI, June 8: Three Pakistanis absconding for a couple of years were captured by the Interpol from Dubai and handed over to the Pakistani authorities at the Islamabad airport on Thursday, security sources said.
Two out of the three identified as Yamin and Adnan were charged with involvement in a Rs400 million wheat scandal and wanted by the Bahawalpur police.
The third one identified as Aurangzeb was wanted by Waris Khan (Rawalpindi) police in a 1990 double murder case.
The two had been running a car showroom in Dubai after leaving Pakistan.
At the Islamabad airport, the two accused were handed over to the Bahawalpur police while the third one was taken into custody by SHO Waris Khan Mumtaz Babar.
Aurangzeb had left the country after the crime while his two accomplices were arrested and awarded death sentence by the apex court.
He had been travelling on the changed name of Khan Hayat Khan.
