KARACHI, June 10: Kicking King who is back in trim after a bad patch is fancied to win the feature event to make it two in a row in the Summer Gymkhana race meeting at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

Having emerged triumphant on May 14 with jockey Mohammad Essa astride, he could not be seen in action as he was withdrawn in the last outing on May 28.

Owned by Zulfiqar Ali Qureshi and trained by Aslam Khan, he is drawn in a pack of seven contestants in the five furlongs last race restricted for Pakistani horses in class IV and V division I and II.

Jadugar, a six-year-old bay horse, and bay mare, Fly To The Sky, are also in the reckoning. The animal to be watched is four-year-old bay filly, Mixed Blessing.

A card of seven races all going through sprinting distance of five furlongs has been chalked out for the day.

The first race begins at 2.30pm.
