PESHAWAR, June 13: The All Departments Coordination Council (ADCC) of North Waziristan has demanded release of government employees detained under the collective responsibility clause of the FCR and their immediate reinstatement.

Nine employees of the education, health and other departments have been waiting for reinstatement on officials post in the agency while some of them, including teachers, are still detained, president ADCC North Waziristan Amir Rahman and a dozen of its members told a news conference on Tuesday.

Mr Rahman said under the collective responsibility clause of the FCR, hundred of government employees had lost their jobs while many of them were arrested and jailed.

He said government employees, who were educated and refined, had no connection with those creating unrest in the agency but they were given punishment for no crime of their own.

“Thanks to MNA Maulana Naik Zaman who struggled for reinstatement of employees and new Governor Ali Mohammad Jan Aurakzai who reinstated them in jobs beside releasing 10 months salaries to class four staff,” the tribesmen added.
