Two ties decided

KARACHI, July 20: Two more matches were decided in the 5th AKU Sports and Rehabilitation Centre cricket tournament at the Aga Khan University Ground the other day.

U-Fone defeated Meezan Bank by just three runs in the first match while Saudi Pak Bank beat Pak Suzuki Motors by six wickets.

U-FONE 192-7 in 25 overs (Shahzad Khan 80, Zaheer Ansari 29; Faisal Kasbati 2-26, M. Ismail 2-39); MEEZAN BANK 189-9 in 25 overs (Ammar Farooq 68, Saood Ahmed 27, Ayub Naig 25; Qazi Qasim 4-28, Farhan Kazmi 2-29).

PAK SUZUKI MOTORS 158-9 in 25 overs (Abdul Quddoos 37, Rizwan Mahmood 27, Bashir Ansari 22; Syed Zahid 3-19, Obaid 2-29); SAUDI PAK BANK 160-4 in 18.3 overs (Saleem 61, Obaid 23 not out; Abdul Quddoos 2-30).
