Snooker series postponed

KARACHI, July 20: The snooker series between Pakistan and India which was scheduled to be held in New Delhi in September will now be held in December after the Asian Games in

Doha, Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association president Asghar Valika announced on Thursday.

He said an official of the Billiards and Snooker Association of India informed him that the series was postponed on request of sponsors.

The PBSA had launched the Indo-Pak snooker series in 2004 with Pakistan hosting it twice and India once at Chandigarh last year.—APP
