KHAIRPUR: Man dies of snakebite

KHAIRPUR, July 29: A man died of snakebite in Laik Majidano village on Friday night. The deceased was identified as Kirir, 18, son of Siddique Majidano. He died on his way to hospital.

KILLED: A man was shot dead and another was injured on Saturday in the jurisdiction of Tando Masti police station.

Four unidentified armed men opened fire at Aijaz Chandio and Moula Bux Chandio when they were going to Nangar Chandio village on a motorcyclist.

Aijaz Chandio died on the spot whereas Moula Bux Chandio was injured seriously. He was admitted to the Khairpur civil hospital.

The motive behind the incident could not be ascertained.
