DUBAI, Aug 4: Leader of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) Nawaz Sharif has vowed to render “selfless services” for Pakistan, adding that he was not hungry for power.
He was adressing PML leaders.
Nawaz Sharif said that the country was passing through a critical phase and his party had decided to join hands with Benazir Bhutto’s PPP as the country still needed them both.
He said that country was struggling with poverty, unemployment and nepotism while the military-led government was busy in amassing illegal loot and purchasing lavish luxuries like expensive cars and airplanes for personal use.
He praised Pakistan Army for its professionalism and patriotism but criticised “a few power hungry generals for their derogatory attitude”. —Online
