KARACHI, Aug 23: Administrative judge of anti-terrorism courts on Wednesday, extending further seven days time, directed the police to submit charge sheet against five suspects for masterminding suicide attack to kill Allama Hassan Turabi on Aug 30.
Mohammad Amin alias Khalid Shaheen, Sultan Mehmood alias Saifullah and Mohammad Rehman alias Mani, Ashfaq Qureshi and Mohammad Akbar Khan are charged with masterminding the suicide attack to kill Hasan Turabi and preparing a suicide bomber for executing their plan.
Hasan Turabi with his nephew Imran Ali , was killed in a suicide bomb blast on July 14.
IO Chudhary Manzoor sought further time for submitting charge sheet against the accused as investigation of he case was recently transferred to him and could not be completed.—PPI
