Kapil blasts Hair

ISLAMABAD, Aug 23: Former Indian captain Kapil Dev on Wednesday strongly condemned the attitude of Australian umpire Darrell Hair. “Many players of the sub continent used to lodge numerous complaints against Mr Hair. Due to unknown reasons ICC continues deploy him in matches against Pakistan, India and Srilanka despite their protests,” he told a private TV channel.

“Hair is not an umpire but a policemen and I never felt comfortable with Hair during my career. It is pathetic that he did not allow the completion of the final Test between Pakistan and England,” Kapil added.—APP
