KARACHI, Sept 7: Seven ships carrying soyabean oil, chemicals and steel are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven vessels, Hyundai Highway, Iran Tabatabaei and Y.M. Sun to unload and load containers, Continent, Harutec and Yong Sheng, to unload and load general cargo were berthed.

Three ships, APL Osaka, Al-Ihsaa and Swat departed, while C. Buckling, Rickmers Seoul, Hong Fu, Y.M. Sun, Iran Tabatabaei, Mol Asanto, Shalamar, Corin Thaikos and Le Li are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 0.113m tons comprising 18,381 tons of export cargo including 1,371 tons of rice and 3,953 tons of cement and 94,427 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday: Taviland, Al-Marwah, with chemicals, Rising One, with 3,000 tons of soyabean oil, Jade Trader, Conti Harmony and Tower Bridge, with containers and Voc Rose, with steel cargo.
