‘PPP-S working for Pukhtun welfare’
PESHAWAR, Sept 7: Provincial general secretary of Pakistan People’s Party, Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao, said on Thursday said the party had undertaken practical measures for the welfare of the Pukhtuns and the efforts would bring about positive changes in their lives.
Speaking at a public meeting at Tarnab in Charsadda district, he said the Pukhtuns were now pinning their hopes on the PPP led by federal Minister Aftab Ahmed Sherpao for redressing their grievances.
He said the party’s leaders had always contributed towards positive politics and discouraged negative tendencies.—APP
