KARACHI, Sept 13: Three carrying containers, edible oil and sugar arrived at the outer anchorage during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Wednesday. Berthing was active as two container ships accommodated berths at QICT. Berth occupancy remained at 70pc as seven vessels, ACX Marguerite, CSAV Ningbo, Explorer-1, Fareast Star, Madre, Temasek and Waikiki, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, sugar, edible oil and coke respectively.

A cargo volume of 77,242 tons comprising 53,887 tons of import and 23,355 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailing was active as ACX Marguerite, Waikiki and Temasek left the port while CSAV Ningbo was due to depart.
